Cascade Plumbing was started in 2000 by Simon and Shane Orre utilizing the family care and the spare bedroom as an office.

As 2002 came to an end we had 2 vehicles on the road had moved the office to the rumpus room with about 6 nursing home and several childcare centres keeping us busy.

By the time we had got to 2004 we were undertaking a $250,000.00 job for the RTA, several large maintenance contracts and 4 employees on the books.

We had purchased an industrial unit, excavator and tipper truck as we had become heavily involved in irrigation, grey water systems and water tanks.

When we reached the end of 2004 we had taken on our first apprentice.

Recently we have purchased a state of the art trailer mounted water jet.

Something that sets up apart is the fact that someone can call us out of hours and will talk to a real person even if it is 2am, we believe this is a huge leap forward in service levels as most people will not respond at all.

If something cannot be rectified right then and there every effort will be made to advise on a course of action so that any damage can be limited.

We have become known for our after hour service levels even to the point that many other plumbers will refer their clients to us.

The other aspect that sets us apart from other plumbers is the fact that we hold licences for the servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves, Backflow Prevention and a Restricted Electrical Licence so that if a hot water service is required to be renewed an electrician is not required.

In our area of operations I believe we have become renowned for our customer service via our friendly helpful staff right the way from the initial contact to the job being completed as we hopefully grow we will need to keep focused on the customer.  Part of the reason that we can provide better customer service is the fact that we make sure that all of our frontline technical staff are trained in all the current industry standards.

Being a member of Master Plumbers Association we are constantly striving to be at the industry forefront.

Something that attracts many clients in the healthcare or childcare industries right through to building or strata manager to us is the fact that when their yearly service requirements are due for either Thermostatic Mixing Valves or Backflow Prevention we will automatically contact the client as our computer spreadsheet will flag that their yearly service is due, because this happens it takes the stress off our client having to remember that a particular service is due at a particular time.
